Have you ever been on a hike and come across a view too good not to capture and share with others? The Wander Co app lets you do just that. The innovative app is designed to let you share every aspect of your outdoor adventure with its location-based photo journal format.

The app tracks your adventure with GPS, showing key statistics including distance covered, average pace, duration and elevation, all tracked and stored on a map for future reference and to share with others. Add photos to the journals you take along the way, and share with friends and followers on Wander Co and other social networks including Twitter and Facebook. Similar to other social networks, Wander Co users can like and comment on your journals.

If you’re looking for some outdoor inspiration, check out journals created by other users around the world, including directions to starting points and tips and tricks along the way.

The app’s layout is simple and user friendly, but the GPS does run constantly so it’s a good idea to bring a backup rechargeable battery. The app requires iOS 8.0 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
