The Finger Lakes wine region in upstate New York is the perfect destination to have your wedding. Comprised of several lakes near Ithaca and Syracuse, the Finger Lakes region is home to about 100 wineries and vineyards. Check out these wineries offering popular wedding packages:
Belhurst Winery
Belhurst’s sprawling lawn meets directly with Seneca Lake — perfect for wedding photos. Choose to have your reception in one of two ballrooms or one of the restaurant’s private dining rooms.
Heron Hill Winery
Overlooking Keuka Lake, Heron Hill has a dedicated wedding staff for one-on-one planning. Some 2015 dates are still available!
Glenora Wine Cellars
Large and small receptions can be accommodated at this winery overlooking scenic Seneca Lake. Though summer and fall are the more popular seasons, wedding packages are available in the winter and spring.
Knapp Winery
On Cayuga Lake, the Knapp Estate is perfect for an intimate gathering. The on-site restaurant or barrel room cater to any wedding.
Wagner Vineyards
One of the oldest wineries on Seneca Lake, Wagner Vineyards can accommodate up to 200 guests and hosts weddings year-round.
Ventosa Vineyards
This Tuscan-inspired vineyard on Seneca Lake can host receptions of 350 guests with views of the vineyards and lake.
Eremita Winery
Housed in a late 1800s Presbyterian church, the winery is perfect if you want a castle feel for your reception. Eremita is situated between Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake.
If you didn’t see your favorite vineyard on the list, give them a call to see if they can make accommodations for you. The region’s many great restaurants are ideal rehearsal dinner venues. Members of the wedding party can indulge in relaxing spa treatments, leading up to the big event.
Bed and breakfasts are among the more popular lodging options. Houses are also available to rent or check out one of the hotels outside of town. Book a shuttle to bring your guests from a central location to and from the big event. With so many activities in and around the Finger Lakes, it is the perfect destination for extending your stay.
