Netflix users may have made the term “binge watching” famous, but it is an act we have all been guilty of since the dawn of YouTube. Regardless, there are still quite a few shows worth the non-stop-watch-a-thon treatment that you won’t find on Netflix.
Now on Hulu, The Mindy Project is a funny, rom-com-inspired show for the female millennial. The Office writer Mindy Kaling wrote, created and stars in this hilarious comedy serious about a boy-crazy girl who is pop-culture obsessed and a well-educated, successful doctor. The show is an original twist on the classic female-driven comedy, just with smarter jokes, a great cast and five seasons available with more episodes to come.
Seeso is a new media platform for comedy and is available for a free trial or $3.99 a month for full access, offering so much binge-worthy material.
The available series list is filled with new content, animations, stand-up, late-night and backlogs of the best of the classics like Fawlty Towers, among many other great shows that no longer exist. Premiering this month on Seeso is Bajillion Dollar Propertie$. The satire is a parody of the Million Dollar Listing series on Bravo and is well cast with almost every actor and comedian from the UCB involved.
