During the San Francisco Art Fair, consider branching out to explore other events occurring in the area simultaneously, such as the Startup Art Fair, April 18–20. The event takes place at Hotel Del Sol and within walking distance of the San Francisco Art Fair.

The by-artists, for-artists fair connects independent creators with collectors, curators and art professionals in a more intimate boutique hotel setting, allowing consumers to interact with the artists and their work in a more direct manner. This year’s events will feature more than 60 artists, as well as special performances and installations. Innovative food and drink options will also be on offer.
Event director Ray Beldner said, “By aligning with SF Fair, a cornerstone of the Bay Area art scene since 2011, we’re participating in what promises to be an extraordinary weekend of art discovery in San Francisco, where tens of thousands of visitors will be coming to discover and buy art.”
Tickets start at $20 for a daily pass purchased in advance. A V.I.P. ticket is available for $75, giving attendees access to all three days of the fair, as well as access to a V.I.P. lounge and bar, and a first-look preview event.
