Pristina is quickly developing a reputation as a foodie paradise in southeastern Europe. The capital of Kosovo is the place to go for a wide diversity of delectable food, from Italian to Mediterranean to traditional Kosovan cuisine.
Pinocchio
Pinocchio is one of the capital’s most revered restaurants thanks to its scrumptious blend of Italian and Kosovan dishes. The salmon ravioli is absolutely mouthwatering, while the views of downtown Pristina are some of the best in the city. It’s pricey, but definitely worth the cost.
Pishat
For local cuisine, there’s no place better than Pishat. Beloved by visitors and locals alike the dishes here are entirely authentic and the atmosphere stunning and welcoming. It’s also one of the few places in the city that offers pork dishes along with an extensive wine selection.
Liburnia
For a romantic evening out look no further than Liburnia. Serving up traditional local cuisine, it’s easily the place to go for date night while traveling to the capital city. The fact the food is served in clay pots is a nice touch.
Home
The subtly named Home is exactly that, a taste of home for everyone no matter where you come from. It’s a gastronomic experience that combines a range of dishes from all over the world in a homey atmosphere. It’s a tad expensive, but the array of food offered here makes it a great choice.
