Park City, Utah, boasts two of the world’s best ski resorts, each with their own unique offerings and features. Finding the right resort to fit your needs, wants and ski level is important. From trail offerings to life ticket prices, check out the below list to help you find the resort that caters to your shredding needs.
Following a $50 million transformation, Park City Mountain Resort is now the largest resort in the United States, featuring more than 7,300 skiable acres of various levels, from beginner to advanced shredder.
The resort finished a massive improvement project in 2015, linking with neighbor Canyons Resort to create the country’s largest ski area. Visitors can get access to more than 7,300 acres, 300 trails, 38 lifts, seven terrain parks, 14 bowls, six natural half pipes, one super pipe and one mini pipe, as well as many diverse ski-in/ski-out and village adjacent lodging properties for lift tickets starting from $107 and rentals starting from $36.95 per day.
Through March 20, ski and snowboard enthusiasts can enjoy a complimentary night and lift ticket with the Park City Mountain Resort’s Ski Free Stay Free special.
Deer Valley Resort features more than 2,000 acres of well-groomed skiable area across six mountains — Little Baldy Peak, Bald Eagle, Bald, Flagstaff, Empire and Lady Morgan. The resort is hailed for its top-notch guest service and groomed-to-perfection slopes as well as luxurious services like uniformed ski valets, on-site childcare and gourmet dining.
Terrain caters to skiers of all levels, with 27 percent of trails for beginners, 41 percent for intermediate and 32 percent for experienced.
Regular rates start from $120 per day. As Deer Valley limits the number of lift tickets sold each day to keep the slopes from getting crowded, be sure to purchase your tickets online in advance.
