Destinations / North America

If you’re a fan of any of these binge-worthy shows, use the characters, plot twists and locations as inspo for your next vacation.

Succession

Succession serves both opulence and understated elegance simultaneously, and the Adirondacks’ Whiteface Lodge offers that same essence. It was also the setting for Season 2, Episode 6. Incredible views, first-class suites, a luxury spa and much more allow travelers to feel like part of the Succession family.

Outer Banks

This one might seem obvious as far as where to go, given the title and all. However, once on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Sanderling Resort should be your home base, right on the shores of the OBX. Beachfront access, coastal cuisine, on-site pools and other activities allow travelers to replicate the same vibe from Outer Banks the show.

Bridgerton

As this Netflix fave’s spin-off Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story begins airing, travelers need not go to London to feel like they’re in London. For a closer option, Lyndhurst Mansion, 25 miles from New York City, offers majestic rooms with period furniture, an impressive European art collection and 19th-century architecture.

Classic Films

The early 2000s produced a lot of classics for millennials, like Blue Crush, Along Came Polly and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. If you’re binging some of your older favs, you probably notice the Hawai’i theme, and a visit to Oahu’s Turtle Bay Resort will help you relive some of that nostalgia with surfing, hiking, tide pools and modern amenities.
