Withings is taking the fitness watch industry to a new and affordable level with the introduction of the Activité Pop this month. The watch serves as both timekeeper and fitness motivator.
The sibling to the original Withing Activité comes with a $150 price tag and whole slew of new features. For starters, you’ll be able to sync this baby up to your phone through Bluetooth. It’s equipped with a pedometer for step tracking and an accelerometer to help keep track of your sleeping habits, too. You can even leave this thing on at night and set it to vibrate to wake you up in the morning to help get you going.
Since the watch is waterproof, you don’t even have to take it off when you shower. The Activaté Pop comes with a Health Mate tracker app that gives suggestions, after tracking your habits, to help you improve your performance. It’ll offer suggestions on ways to walk more and lets you challenge your friends on the Activity Board to see who can engage in the most fit-friendly activities each week.
At night, the watch monitors your sleeping habits by tracking both your light and deep sleep cycles, along with how often you wake up. It then offers suggestions for getting more rest in bed.
The watch has been available overseas for a few months but is finally hitting the United States this month. Learn more at withings.com.
