They’ve finally done it — figured out a way to capture the sweet, summery flavor of watermelon in a healthful fruit juice. WTRMLN WTR, described as “Cold pressed watermelon — everything but the skin,” is a 100 percent organic juice product, with 12 grams of sugar and 60 calories in every eight ounces (a little tricky math here, the bottles are all 12 ounces, so each contains 1.5 servings). According to the manufacturer, the product contains no added water, is vegan and gluten-free.

With its hot pink color and green exterior label, WTRMLN WTR looks like summer in a bottle. Before, watermelon lovers could only dream of a juice made of their favorite fleshy fruit, and now that dream is a reality. If that weren’t enough to get excited about, WTRMLN WTR is billed as a healthy juice, with pros including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits.

A super, heart-healthy source of potassium (2 times that of a banana) and magnesium, it’s great for the immune system and chock full of Vitamin A and Vitamin C.

WTRMLN WTR is made of watermelon flesh, watermelon rind and organic lemon. The makers are branding it as a sexy drink, with slogans like “Your new sexy workout partner.” It’s rumored to boost the libido, containing the amino-acid Citrulline, which like Viagra, relaxes and dilates blood vessels.

It was named one of Shape Magazine’s 30 Most Hydrating Foods this year, so it’s definitely worth trying. You can purchase it on their website in 12 and 24 packs, and it is also available at select Whole Foods stores nationwide. If you buy it on their site, it’s cheaper at $6 per bottle versus $9–10 per bottle in stores.
