Have you ever dreamed about a printer you could take with you everywhere? You know, in case you need to print out tickets, business reports or whatever tickles your fancy? Well, it’s finally here.
The Zuta Portable Pocket Printer is a robotic, portable printer that prints directly to the page. Meaning, you simply place the printer on the paper, line it up with the corner of the page and then it goes to work sliding across the page and transferring the input onto the paper. Pretty nifty, right?
The average page takes less than a minute to print, and the battery is good for about an hour of printing. You can access and input orders to print from a computer, smartphone or tablet using the traditional printing options or an app.
One ink cartridge will provide enough ink for around 1,000 pages and it can be recharged through a USB port. The printer works best for smaller tasks, like printing tickets. However, if you’ve got a big project, the printer will simply stop and wait after it finishes one page for you to move it on to the next.
Pre-orders for the printer begin at $199 and are on sale now, but the initial batch set for September is already sold out. As of this writing, there are still more available for the October order and will likely be more added moving forward.
